Spanizol А(А)
Spanizol А(А) is a wind - moisture-proof membrane with fireproofing additives
Spanizol A (A) is a heat-bonded polypropylene non-woven fabric (spunbond), which contains fireproofing additives (fire retardants) that prevent the material against igniting at short-term exposure to fire, for example:
- During the welding works
- Waterproofing of basement
- Walls with blow lamps
- When working with ventilated facades
- Careless handling of fire
Spanizol A(A) wind-resistant membrane prevents the air movement through the thermal insulation, reducing the heat loss. Spanizol A (A) has a waterproofing capacity sufficient to protect the insulant and other internal elements of the wall structures against atmospheric precipitations penetrating under the outer cladding, while being a vapour-permeable material, therefore it does not prevent the water vapour escape from the insulant into the air gap.
The material strength promotes the resistance to mechanical stresses at the installation stage and while in operation. Spanizol A(A) material can be used as a wind protection in the ventilated facades due its properties. Subject to compliance with all installation requirements, the use of Spanizol A(A) wind-resistant membrane allows to retain the thermal-insulating properties of the insulant as well as to extend the service life of the structures.
