Spanizol SD is a material based on high-strength woven polypropylene fabric with anti-condensation surface.
Spanizol SD is used as under-roof waterproofing in non-insulated roofs in order to protect wooden structural elements (attic-floor room) against under-roof condensate, atmospheric moisture, wind and snow penetrating in places of non-tight roof laying.
The material can be used as a vapour seal in all cases where it is necessary to protect the enclosing structures and insulant against the effects of water vapours from inside the room.
It is used as an under-roof waterproofing in insulated roofs in order to protect the insulant against atmospheric moisture, wind and snow penetrating in places of non-tight roof laying (in this case, the air gap should be made between the insulant and Spanizol SD).
Due to its UV-resistance and strength characteristics, it can be used as a temporary coating for waterproofing of walls and roofs, but not more than 3-4 months.
